Blake's 1st Birthday

Yes, that's right...Blake Ryan Larsen turned 1 year old on February 2nd!  I just can't believe it's been a whole year.  I can honestly say, Blake has enriched my life so much.  Greg and I love being grandparents and Taylor loves being Aunt T.  This little guy definitely can pull my heart strings.  I love him so much. 

Sarah and Ryan had a HUGE party for him.  If  you know Sarah, you'll know she did it up right!

I think all the guests had just as much fun as Blake did.  We got the biggest kick watching him open presents, play with toys and witnessing him eat the cupcake Sarah made.  It was an event to be remembered.  We are so happy we could be part of this special day because Blake is so special to us.

Christmas at The Streets

Every Christmas, Greg, Taylor and I always go to the movies at The Streets of Southpoint, Durham, NC.

This year (2012) before the movie, we went into the mall and took some pics in Santa's chair (one advantage to Greg working there is we can get into the mall when it's closed).


Then, we went outside to the theater....

It was a great day!

Tristan Cage's Baby Shower

we had a baby shower for Tristan Cage!

Tiffany drove in from Leesville, LA on Friday, December 14th.  We were so happy to greet her.  Greg and I drove over to Melonie's to get a hug and get our hands on that baby bump.  We felt Tristan move and kick.  It was so neat.  Tiff looks great!

Friends and family got together at Melonie's church in Garner Sunday and threw a BIG baby shower.  We decorated the room in blue and brown with a sports theme.  There were a ton of balloons... we used 4 tanks of helium. One thing that's really nice is whenever Gregory and Tiffany have a celebration, Melonie, her sisters and our family get together and make it a joint effort to be a special event.

We are very happy about Tristan's debut in March!!!!



Family Time

Family is everything to me.  Greg and I love spending time with our kids and grandchildren.  We try to make the most of any time we have with them.  These are some of the things we do when we are with them:

January 2013

I am FAR behind on blogging!  I'll just jot down a few of the main highlights for January.

Ryan moved to NC. The Larsen's are together again!  We are so happy they are living just a few miles away from us!!!!

We helped Tiffany and Clint and Titan move from LA to GA. 

 Taylor had her wisdom teeth removed.

We celebrated Greg's birthday.  Ryan, Sarah and Blake took us out for Birthday Bowling.  We had a BLAST!

November Updates...

Greg and I went to Stedman on Friday, November 9th, to babysit Hope.  Gregory and Danielle went out that evening and we were so happy to spend some some special time with Baby Hope Olivia.  Just look at how much she's grown!

I take Blake to Miss Dawn's in the mornings before I go to school.  It's definitely a busy time getting us both ready but he is such a good baby!  He loves playing with Simba and Penny.  Just look for yourself...

We also found out this month that Tiffany and Clint are having a baby BOY!  Yes, that's right!  Tristan Cage McPherson will make his debut in March 2013!  We just can't wait to meet Blake and Hope's new cousin and our new grandchild:)
